Maite Colón graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2011 and holds a certificate in Mediation, Dispute Resolution, and International Arbitration from Humboldt-Universität Zu Berlin, obtained in 2010. During law school, she held various leadership roles, including class vice president, and received the Pro Bono Award for Excellence in the Sexual Orientation and Gender Discrimination Law School Clinic.
Ms. Colón focuses her practice on complex litigation matters and advising clients in commercial business, employment, and insurance coverage disputes.
Prior to joining Andrade Gonzalez LLP, Ms. Colón represented clients in consumer protection actions at the state, federal, and international level. Early in her career, she worked as an Associate in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Project Finance Practice Group at an international law firm.
A native Spanish speaker, Ms. Colón is also a classically trained pianist.
