Eric D. Mason is a Partner at the Firm. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, Order of the Coif, and received his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego, magna cum laude.
Mr. Mason has extensive experience representing corporate and individual clients in a broad range of complex commercial and insurance coverage litigation matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts across the country. Mr. Mason began his legal career at the Los Angeles office of Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, where he represented Fortune 500 companies including national banks, media companies, aerospace manufacturers, and consumer product retailers in high-profile consumer class actions, intellectual property litigation, environmental litigation, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, among other matters. He has also represented individual business owners in partnership, corporate ownership, and licensing disputes, and has experience with international discovery issues.
Mr. Mason also represents policyholders in complex insurance recovery disputes, including those involving business tort, intellectual property, and employment related claims.
Mr. Mason has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Southern California Super Lawyers for the years 2015 to 2018.
After law school, Mr. Mason served as a judicial clerk for U.S. District Judge Valerie Baker Fairbank of the Central District of California. During law school, he served as Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review, was a distinguished advocate and board member of the Moot Court Honors Program and served as a law clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
