Chayanm E. “C.J.” Garcia received his business master’s degree from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business. He graduated from Southwestern Law School and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Mr. Garcia is an experienced litigator with government and business experience and expertise. A decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, he separated from active-duty military service with the rank of Captain. He has experience advising clients in all types of matters from pre-litigation to trial. Because of his deep interest in understanding the complexities of different business and commercial matters, he obtained his master’s degree in business from USC.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Garcia worked for a general practice law firm where he handled a wide range of litigation. He also worked as a Law Clerk for the California Department of Justice – Consumer Protection Section.
In the military, Mr. Garcia served in numerous roles, including Strategy and Operations Planner, Company Commander, Director of Operations, Chief of Operations and Battle Captain. He deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and was awarded numerous honors including the Bronze Star Medal.
